I use different techniques in my paintings such as image transfers, collage, conte crayon, oil pastels and acrylic on canvas. I combine all these elements to form one voice through which, I can convey the struggle against the alienation and sociopolitical injustices of this region (Rio Grande Valley). We have been forgotten by many who live outside the borderlands, and I will not be silent anymore.
